Headhunter 27

This is from a series of illustrations that I am doing over the next period of time. I select a subject and do a quick speed painting of their portrait. I set myself to a time limit of no more than two hours. The idea behind this, is that I am going to do 100 heads, in hopes that by the time I complete them all I will have gained speed in my ability to paint as well as become familiar with many different head types and shapes. This way when I must come up with a character for a concept I will have a wealth of experience to draw from.
